It was great to hear this podcast and I love the “formula” Lilla spoke of in the end :) Sounds good to me…

It’s funny. I just discovered Lilla’s website recently and was in awe of how cool it is! I dig the retro vibe and am totally on the same page as far as loving the merging of illustration and craft culture.

Thank you so much for this podcast. I always love to hear from Art Reps and Art Directors (as well as other Illustrators.) To get a look into how others are finding success in the crazy world of illustration work.

Lilla has a great attitude towards creative work. I love how she talks about the importance of keeping passion in your work. Her thoughts on what she looks for and how to promote yourself really gave me a lot to think about and look at within my work. Am I original enough, do I show enough enjoyment and passion in my portfolio? (I know I don’t keep my blog current enough!)

Thanks for bringing us another great podcast.

Nice to hear how artreps deal with promotion stuff from artists. I love the “Go-for-it-if-you-really-want-it” vibe this podcast has. I work my butt off and it’s nice to hear a little sentence like this. She gave a lot of good advice.

I was really surprised by her work though…in a bad way…*0*

A really great interview! Inspiring to hear those words from such an experienced art rep and illustrator. She talks about joy in illustration and personal style. I’ve got the joy but sure have to focus on my personal style, what I really like to do.
