Hello fellow Illustrators!

In the past year and a half of running Escape from Illustration Island, I’ve been approached with this question more times than I can count. As I’ve pondered ways to provide an accurate response, I’ve always had one thing in mind:
It’s not really about what you do, but who you are.
Of course, there are definitely certain actions you can take to build a strong foundation and increase your chances of success, which is why I created the ’15 Steps to Freelance Illustration’ ebook, audiobook, and workbook earlier this year.
