How to Promote Yourself Without Ever Talking About Yourself
One of the frustrations I hear about most often from my fellow Illustrators is that they hate the idea of talking about themselves all the time as a way of promoting themselves.
The good news is, you don’t have to.
There are plenty of creative ways to promote yourself and build your network without bragging, schmoozing, or anything else that makes most Illustrators uncomfortable.
For more about this concept, check out this guest post I recently wrote for Vector Tuts+ called How to Promote Yourself Without Talking About Yourself. If you’ve ever struggled with the idea of self-promotion, then you might find some ideas in this article to apply to your own business.

I highly recommend the book “Never Eat Lunch Alone”. It’s about the power of relationships in your career, loosing egos, and really getting to know the people you work with day to day. Networking without the “networking” part. Excellent read.
Thanks Mike. Sounds interesting. I’ll have to check that out.
Hi Thomas,
Appreciate what you do. Based on your illustration style, I thought you would benefit from knowing about Koren Shadmi, if you don’t already.
