This week’s feature for the Tutorial of the Week series on Escape From Illustration Island is a Work-In-Progress post by artist Jeremy McHugh.
In addition to his beautiful Illustration work, you may know Jeremy from the great Illustration podcast, Ninja Mountain, which focuses on the world of Fantasy and Sci-Fi Illustration.
In his post called “The Dragon Attacks! A Short WIP”, Jeremy shares images and insightful commentary from the progression of a recent Illustration he completed. Personally, I love WIP posts, because they offer a quick glimpse into the intimate creative process of an artist, and allow the artist to share some of the thought and inspiration that went into a particular piece.
