thanks for having me on the show!!
I had a blast, Claudine. Thanks so much for bringing so many great ideas to the table.
Wonderful podcast Thomas!! Claudine is a huge inspiration to many….
I agree, Diana. Claudine’s story is very inspiring and I’m excited to see what she does next. Thanks for listening, and for your comment!
Great listening to this podcast and love Claudine’s work! I love hearing about the diversity and options in what one can do with their work…really fantastic. Thanks for sharing all the information…and gosh I wish I had a chemist to work with…just because it sounds cool…haha!
Thanks Linda. One thing that strikes me about Claudine’s story is that each aspect seems to draw on a different part of her. I think it’s great when you can find ways to do that with your business, and with your life. The ability to shift gears and express different sides of yourself is a great situation to be in.
Excellent podcast–thanks Claudine and Thomas! I’m glad to hear the way Claudine treats her Etsy shop, as I often feel guilty for not spending more time on mine.
Thank you so much for the amazing interview with Claudine. Her success is truly an inspiration on how to do it right. Great listening to the podcast and learning from you’all.
Jason – now I don’t feel as bad either. glad I am not the only one! LOL!
Great interview as usual, Thomas. Some very insightful pieces of information for those of us in the struggle! :)
Shout out to Claudine, too. I always love interviews where people speak candidly about the field! See you soon!
This podcast continues to inspire…thanks!
Thanks Terry. I have to agree what what you’re saying about candid talk about the industry. I think it really helps to paint a more complete and realistic picture for everyone.
That was a great podcast! I just found your site through Claudine’s blog and I will definitely be back. It’s good to hear how people make it in the art world and how there are SO many different ways of doing it. Thanks!
Elisabeth
Thanks so much Elisabeth, and welcome to EFII. I hope you enjoy the other episodes. Cheers!
This is awesome. I have come to your podcast thru Claudine’s blog and I loved hearing about Claudine’s background and the toggling back and forth between fine art and crafting.
I have recently started painting/illustration again after 10+ years of being a graphic designer/art director and I found I was definitely at odds with myself. I am not a crafter but I do sort of like the inclusiveness of that community in that they are pretty encouraging as opposed to the sometimes elitist nature of the fine arts community. I agree that crafting is a good place for people to find that they are in fact artists.
This is such an great resource and EFII has now been bookmarked! Thanks!
This was a great interview! I’m glad I found it on Claudine’s facebook page. I learned alot about licesnsing artwork. I never thought it would be so much work. I just picked up the 2010 Artist’s & Graphic Design Market book. I plan to really look thru- it and take away a few things to use in my artist life.
I have to say- thanks for a great interview – learned lots.
