    Hi guys!

I’m using http://www.coroflot.com for the last 3 months and it is nice.
It also has a section for companies to post their needs for creative professionals and you can interact with fellow artists in groups and on each others’ profiles.

Just a FYI for anybody interested in http://www.amateurillustrator.com, they are not accepting members as of 03/24/10 due to a spam situation.

Thanks a ton for this post Thomas.

It’s kinda sad to say but drawingboard.org has really fallen off the wagon for me. The old guard doesn’t post as much and there seems to be a high percentage of lower quality stuff on there now.

DA seems to be suffering a similar fate but you can still navage through peoples favorites and find some real stand out artists.

I will say that both of these sites could easily turn around if it got a shot in the arm from the readership of EFII

http://www.elfwood.com :) it’s been around for ages and they’ve updated their website… easier to upload/update now, however it can take days for images to be approved which can be frustrating.

One more that isn’t on the list: – http://www.bluecanvas.com/

Thanks for the useful list. A site that I’m on that has been good for me is http://dribbble.com/ . This site is for both design and illustration. You’ll have to look through logo designs and website designs to get to the illustrators, but there are a lot of good illustrators on there. I also think the creatives from different fields can be inspiring too.

Hey this looks like a great list…

I was wondering which (if any of the ones mentioned) would you recommend for both Art + Fashion……

I’m looking to join communities with similar interests as mine, that merge both the worlds of Arts & Crafts with Fashion….

    I have a blog on [ Indian ] Art & Fashion:

And would love to have like-minded people pay me a visit!!
