Contributing Artist – Frank Hansen
I’d like to introduce Frank Hansen.
He’s a fellow Illustrator and member of the Escape From Illustration Island Community who will be contributing some of his work to future posts at EFII, so you’ll be seeing his dynamic Illustrations alongside the valuable resources that will be made available in the coming weeks. You can see one if his pieces in action right now here.
Here’s a little more info about Frank in his own words:
I am a freelance illustrator/artist living in the Los Angeles area. I went to art school at the Academy of Art in San Francisco but dropped out soon after to study film and moved to LA. After school I worked in the film industry for many years until I re-kindled my love for art and have been pursuing it ever sense.
I currently still work in the film industry and work on illustration and my own art on the side.
I have had my art work in a few group shows in the LA area recently and I am actively lining up other group shows in LA and San Francisco to help get my work seen and hopefully grow a small audience.
I am married and have one daughter.
Thanks to Frank for answering EFII’s call to artists in the community by offering to share his Illustrations on EFII. You can find more of Frank Hansen’s work at fmhansen.com.
If you’d like to inquire about contributing work, send an email to Thomas James at illustrationisland@gmail.com with the subject line “Illustration Submission”.
