Best of EFII – December 2009

January 4, 2010

EFII is Back!

After a brief break for the holidays, Escape From Illustration Island is revving up for a fresh start in 2010.  Stay tuned, as I’ll be kicking things up a notch here to help make EFII the most valuable Illustration resource site online.

As we move forward, however, now is also a great time to look back at some of the things you may have missed in the month of December.  One of my favorite steps from the recent article Setting up Your Business for the new Year is Taking Stock, where you can decide what you’d like to take with you into the future.

In the spirit of looking back as you move forward, here’s a glance at some recent additions to EFII:

Man… just look at the titles that you are telling people to look back on.
All the essentials are there! I’m willing to bet that it is the most complete collection of the most important aspects of making it as illustrators in our current environment…. ideas…
    hmmm….
I have to say… this is the primo resource for illustrators, if you ask me.

      Thanks for your encouragement, Jose.
I don’t believe I’ve compiled a “complete collection” yet, but I’ll be continuing to reach for that goal in the months ahead. Lots more to come!

This site is just bursting with illustration AWESOMENESS. I can’t wait to see this site grow in 2010 and meet new people in the community. And of course I can’t wait to listen to more awesome podcasts!
