Tutorial of the Week – How to Illustrate a Children’s Book

December 9, 2009

On the heels of a recent post of the Top 12 Children’s Book Illustration Online Resources, I thought I’d follow up with this week’s Tutorial of the Week, How to Illustrate a Children’s Book by Heather Castles.

Heather draws from her experience as a Children’s Book Illustrator to outline the 20 phases that see sees as part of her process for a typical book project, from concept to completion.  This can be of great help to those who are new to the Children’s Book industry, so it’s definitely worth a read.
