I was just thinking about the theft issue. The system of audience vigilance works great for more well-known artists, but I have a feeling that a LOT of art gets repurposed without anyone EVER noticing. I doubt that if something I have created was used somewhere anyone would notice. To me, that’s a much bigger problem than more successful artists who everyone recognizes.

Even more reason to build an audience for one’s work I suppose.
