Resource Review – The Purple Crayon

Do you want to Illustrate Children’s Books?

If you do, then you’ll want to check out The Purple Crayon, because this site has all the information and resources you’ll need to get started.

The Purple Crayon is the brainchild of Harold Underdown, who is a Children’s Book Editor and author of The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Publishing Children’s Books.  He has created the resource site out of a passion for sharing information about the industry, which is right up our alley here at EFII.

You might say that this is a purple-haired sibling of EFII, in that it aims to be an all-around resource hub, featuring book reviews, interviews, resource links, and a lot more.

Whether you’re an aspiring or published Children’s Book Illustrator, there’s plenty for you at The Purple Crayon.
