Tutorial of the Week – Artito Bandito by Von Glitschka

Nobody breaks down their process like Vonster.

You may remember him from Episode 4 of the EFII Podcast, where we discussed the importance of including the preliminary drawing process in Illustration tutorials.  Well, he just published a new tutorial on his Art Backwash Blog called Artito Bandito, where he outlines some of the basic steps of a recent project he completed for a client.  What makes his tutorials great is his passion for going behind the scenes, beyond a simple lesson on how to use digital tools, and into the more vital topic of concept creation, which is far too often overlooked by aspiring artists.  He often even includes the Photoshop files, so that you can follow along and dig into the layers of a project.  For all of these reasons, I have chosen his latest tutorial as the first in a new ongoing series, Tutorial of the Week, where I will highlight some of the best, most useful, tutorials on the web.
