Art & Story Extreme!!
Mark and Jerzy are at it again.
With Art & Story and Art & Story Alive! already in their utility belts, it would be tempting to believe that Mark Rudolph and Jerzy Drozd didn’t have anything else to offer to the topic of comics creation in the podcast format, and that any new spinoff of the show would just be more of the same. I must admit that I myself was skeptical when I first heard mention of Art & Story Extreme!! because I couldn’t imagine what else they might have to contribute apart from what they already were giving, not to mention how they could possibly have time and material to create 3 podcasts with this topic in mind. I am happy to say that I was very wrong in doubting them, and for that I bow to my knees and beg their forgiveness.
Art & Story Extreme!! brings you something that their other incarnations can’t, which is tasty bite-sized chunks of awesome! It’s more playful, personal, and punk than their more formal siblings, and I highly recommend adding this to your podcast arsenal. You will be both informed and entertained by this red-headed stepchild of Art & Story podcasts as Mark and Jerzy share their workday with you as they mix in a healthy dose of humor and wit.
But be warned: If you listen to this podcast with headphones (as I sometimes do as my pregnant girlfriend sleeps in the next room) just make sure you’re wearing diapers, because every once in a while that sneaky explosion sound effect catches you off guard.
